Android Apps

I recently got an Android phone and so I decided now was a good time to jump into mobile development. In less then a week of working with the Android SDK I released my first app and a week later released a second. These are just the beginning of more to come.

The two apps I developed were both "Soundboards". Basically collections of audio clips that a user can play on the tap of a button. Not super high end or anything but a good place to start. One was sound clips from the movie Top Gun and another was clips with funny, pithy or downright inappropriate comments from President Obama. Together in less then 3 weeks they've had over 7000 downloads. Pretty good for a first time around.

All in all I'm getting a good handle and grasp on the Android SDK and plan to release many more apps in the coming weeks/months.
