Drupal Camp SC slides
On June 13, during South East Linux Fest, the first Drupal Camp South Carolina was held. I had the honor of presenting a "Intro to Drupal" session and an "Advanced Theming" session. You'll find the slides for both after the jump.
I kicked off the days sessions with "Intro To Drupal"
The session was well attended and seemed to really give people a better understanding of Drupal. Even my wife, who was gracious enough to sit through a weekend of geek-ness with me, learned what "this Drupal stuff you talk about all the time is". Just that alone made the session well worth it.
After having some down time to watch some other sessions and presenters, I closed out the days sessions with "Advanced Theming". And while the slides below don't contain a lot, because I spent most of the session actually examining code and showing how to do things, there was a lot of information given in this session.
This session was also well received and while some people felt a little over their heads with all the code talk, most of them expressed to me that they had really picked up a lot of useful info.
All in all it was a great Drupal Camp and SE Linux Fest. I'll post my review and recap of both in the next couple days.
